Just saw a baby mouse staring at me, I think I need to invest in a cat.

From a few days ago, when it was warm. Cat likes to spend all evening lying on the still-warm stone.

We lost my beautiful little lady last month, my best friend of 17 years, and it's finally getting easier to look at photos of her again. I thought about making a Facebook or Instagram post but it just seemed too trite. Then I realized I'd love for her to be a part of the images on this forum. She was as beautiful as she was affectionate and vocal, which is to say, very.

^just saw this after reading up on leonor fini and coming here to post something about cats: she supposedly said that "in every way cats are the most perfect creatures on the face of the earth, except that their lives are too short." my dog (hiss, boo, wrong thread) is coming up on 17, and i'm gettin a little worried myself.

on a happier note, here is a picture of her and a cat. is this not wonderfully typical?

Cat's first real snow. She had a taste a week ago and just ran right back inside to the bed upon touching it. This time around she was a lot more curious.

i've neglected this thread and must offer profound apologies, has been difficult since losing mine as i've not much to contribute. i can't encourage e. enough to share her bounty of whiskers with the readership. each and every time i see them, my heart brims with unspeakable joy.

this is my Ernie, a very old cat I used to live with who now lives with the chickens and pigeons at my mums.
Looking particularly surly in these photos.

John Dickinson had a knack for bringing style to every function. His cat ate from plates that were placed on hinged brass chargers. When mealtime was over, plates were whisked away, and the brass chargers flipped up against the wall.
